This system helps to the bank extension counters to connect to the Bank/Branch through telephone (Dial-up/Leased) line. It helps in accessing the all information of accounts and does the all daily transactions on that A/c. This helps in attracting customers, because they can do their bank transaction (Deposits/Payments or any other) from any extension counter of Bank. Transaction developed are A/C opening, closing, Deposits, Payments, loans, Cash Reconciliation, Inward & Out Clearing, Transfers, Passbook Printing and FD receipts, Issuing chequebook and many more.

Technical Details

:

The concept used is Client/Server System where the system broken into following modules.

SERVER: A Database server Who handles all the data-request raised by Remote Clients. Data of request is collected and formed into packets and these packets are then send to Remote client through communication module. A Circular Queue data structure is used for storing incoming packets. Data packets are posted into another circular queue from which communication module sends them on telephone line to client.

CLIENT: This is front-end module of the system. It interacts with the end user. Here requests are bundled into the packets and are send to SERVER. The data structure circular queue is used for out-going requests. The answer packets of the requests the posted into respective User’s DATA Box’ from where client module takes its data, parses the packets display information requested on Screen.

Communication Module: This module handles the functions like establishing communication between client part and server part. It handles both Dial-up and leased line connections. Once the connection is established, it checks the Out-going Box for outgoing packets and line status for incoming data and helps in data transmission over the telephone line.

Flexible editor for editing documents in Devnagri Language with full keyboard and Mouse support. Provides the facility of printing documents on DOT matrix printer. An English – English Dictionary provides the facility to add a new word and its meaning.
